VeggieTales in the House just came out with a new movie called Puppies and Guppies. VeggieTales is one series that I know I can trust to let my children watch. With all the YouTube videos they watch you can never know what they may end up clicking on…
I asked my daughter Abby (5 years old) if she wanting to watch the new veggie tales movie. Her response? “That’s for toddlers Mom, No.” Now this is coming for someone who has watched several of their movies in the past and has loved them! So I decided to take a chance and watch it on our weekly family movie night.
Well, she loved it. In fact she has watched it several times since!
So much for VeggieTales being, “only for toddlers.”
Here is the description from the VeggieTales site:
Join Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and all their veggie friends in this super-sized collection of 8 all new stories full of music and fun! In these hilarious adventures about pets, popcorn, jet packs and more, kids will laugh and learn what it means to be responsible and kind to others. And parents will like knowing their kids are entertained by stories based on values from the Bible!
The VeggieTales Puppies and Guppies DVD provides 8 new stories from the Netflix original series on the importance of being kind to one another as well as how to be responsible. Puppies and Guppies will make your child laugh while they learn how important it is to be kind and responsible. I even enjoyed the movie myself!
Be Warned: If you watch it, you just might catch yourself singing the Puppy Friends Forever (PFF) song for days after….
Here is the song if you care to listen:
What parent doesn’t want to teach their children responsibility and what child hasn’t asked (begged) for a puppy!
Now Abby may not be watching VeggieTales much longer (sad face) but I plan on giving our DVD collection to my grandson. He is age 3 and according to Abby it’s, “the perfect age to enjoy it.”
I downloaded the VeggieTales Movie Night Pack to use for our family movie night. You can get it here:
